This guide includes the Islands Koh Kood, Koh Mak and Koh Chang which is located on the east coast near Cambodia. These Islands are absolutely stunning with Koh Kood being probably my favorite Island in all of Thailand.

My guide start in Koh Kood, then moving on to Koh Mak and ending in Koh Chang. You can easily change up the order as the boat connection between the Islands is quite good.

After visiting a good number of islands in Thailand I found this island fits perfectly for families, friends or loved ones with noting big on their schedule other than a vacation.

The reason is the lagre number of nice hotels, resorts and villas spread across the whole island which might not attract the average backpacker. This Island is a place to relax, and with a good number fun attractions.

If you are looking for an island with beautiful beaches, cool cave experiences, good restaurants, fun nightlife. family friendly and still has that touch of wild Thailand. Then Koh Lanta is the place to go.

This island is perfect if you are traveling with friends or family. With that being said, this is also a good Island to visit for first time backpacker people as getting around and the connections between the nearby islands are very good.

Koh Tao is one of those very tropical island in Thailand. With that I mean warm waters, perfect beaches, palm trees scattered across the island and the feeling of being very wild with lots of untouched nature.

Koh Tao has that Island vibe that you don't find that often. The island is relatively small but you will find that there is plenty of activities to do here with diving being what attracts most people. Koh Tao has some great diving and is known for being one of the cheapest places in the world to take your diving license.

With a variety of things to do I can clearly see why this island has become so popular.

På grunn av øyas attraksjoner som er tilrettelagt for familier, venner og kjærester med ingen store planer annet enn å komme seg bort og rett og slett feriere. Det store nummeret med flotte hoteller, resorter og villaer spredt rundt over hele øya, noe som kanskje ikke tiltrekker den vanlige backpackeren.

Denne øya er den perfekte plassen for å slappe helt av!

Hvis du er på leting etter en øy med flotte strender, kule grotter, god mat, bra nattliv men også familievennlig, så er Koh Lanta øya for deg. Øya har fortsatt en vill side med tett jungel og du vil rett som det er se øgler og aper vandre rundt om i gatene.

Koh Lanta passer også utmerket om du er på din første backpacker tur ettersom denne har god forbindelse med de nærliggende områdene som Krabi og Phuket.
